How the watch works
Monitoring catches the incident, our team analyses it and works on a fix until it's resolved — around the clock, following a runbook we design with you.
From alert to resolution
- Monitoring. Systems, databases and data flows are under constant watch. Anomalies trigger an alert.
- Alerts come to us, not you. Alerts go straight to APRÓ’s team. Your people don’t have to wake up for every one.
- Triage. An expert assesses what happened and how it affects the business. Is it a real incident or noise? Can it wait until morning?
- Response. We work on a fix following the runbook. When an incident falls outside what we handle ourselves, we call in the right person through the escalation paths we agreed together.
- Close and follow up. The incident is resolved and logged. If the same problem keeps coming back, we look for the root cause so it stops recurring.
Judgement matters
Alerts from every system don’t tell the whole story. Many don’t matter; some matter a lot. Our experts know your infrastructure, analyse anomalies and assess their impact before anyone gets woken up.
Alerts also get fewer over time: we tune the monitoring so the right things get attention and the rest doesn’t.
A clear division of work
Before the watch starts, we agree together:
- What we handle ourselves, for example restarting a service, freeing up space or re-running a job.
- When your people are called in, and who, by system and severity.
- How you’re notified, which channels are used and when.
The runbook is written down and it’s yours. We revisit it as your environment changes.
168 hours a week
The watch is always on — evenings, weekends and holidays. Your IT team doesn’t have to carry on-call duty on top of a full working day, and the watch doesn’t depend on the same key people always being available.
We work with your people
We’re extra support for your IT team, not a replacement. Our experts share knowledge and experience and point out what can be improved to prevent failures.
